Boston Marathon Lottery – 2020

Please complete the form below to be added to the Boston Marathon 2020 bib lottery. We will select the names at the Thirsty Thursday gathering on January 23, 2020. Deadline for submitting to the lottery is 2pm on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

The BAA has given the PRC two invitational bibs this year. The BAA gives these bibs to Boston area running clubs to encourage participation in clubs and promote club cohesiveness, including running together as a group throughout the year.

  • Those who have been members of PRC for a year are eligible for the lottery
  • Those who put in for the lottery should have run regularly with the Club throughout the year.
  • PRC expects those who receive the invitational bibs to train for the marathon with the Club, and in particular to do their long runs with the Club regularly.
  • Those who volunteered at Club events and help manage Club activities get their name in the hat extra times.
  • One of the numbers is set aside for a first time Boston Marathoner, so that as many Club members as possible can experience running Boston.

Marathon Long Run #2 – March 28, 2015 – RUNNERS

PRC sponsors two runs on the Boston marathon course with support in the form of a ride out to Hopkinton, water stops along the way, and a ride back to the West Roxbury YMCA.

Run #2 is March 28, 2015 and will go off from Hopkinton at 8:30 am SHARP.  There will be a car caravan leaving from the Y at 7:15 a.m. to be in Hopkinton in time to start running by 8:30am.

This will be a 21 mile run from Hopkinton to the top of Heartbreak Hill at Boston College If you want to go further than that, you will need to run beyond and double back to get a ride back to the WR YMCA. If you are planning to run shorter than that, you may need to make alternate arrangements to get picked up for a ride back unless you stop at our last water stop.

If you are planning to be a runner on the SECOND run, comment below by 3-21-15 with –

  • Your name
  • Your email address
